21-23 November

After the success of the Workshop in June, MARCO is offering a second creative therapy workshops in Movement Art and Rhythm…

This experiential workshop will allow you to explore the use of intermodal creative therapies, including art-making, dance/movement, drama, rhythm, sound and more. On the Friday night we will all introduce ourselves and try out some activities to spark your imagination and increase your sense of safety and confidence. During the weekend you will be assisted to identify personal themes and metaphors that you can explore, expanding your ability to give creative expression to your own story and emotions and to integrate your kinesthetic, visual and auditory expression. We will be working at the interface of artistic and therapeutic intentions, expanding your ability to fulfill both aspects of the creative therapy process.

This workshop is suitable for all levels of previous experience, both creative and therapeutic. Participants may be coming along purely for a personal experience, however, the workshop will also provide some theory of creative therapies, and ideas and discussion supporting any application of this work to your own personal and professional life.
