Why PLAY?

At MARCO Trust we believe that creativity is expressed in all forms. We promote activities that not only challenge and expand children’s minds, but also their bodies! We do this through integrative yoga adventures that promote imagination, expression, and physicality. Combined with relaxation and games, children learn the connection between what they think and how their bodies feel. In a non- competitive environment, each child can work to their own ability, and they are encouraged to channel their energy into physical expression.

Every class is a new journey to a familiar or foreign destination. Each adventure unfolds over the course of 30 minutes, with 15 minutes of discussion and games to wrap up. Wherever we go, kids are encouraged to participate and contribute. Nothing is needed but an active imagination, and a sense of adventure! In a day and age where it is difficult to keep children both active and creative, PLAY is the ideal option. From 4 to 8 years of age, what child doesn’t just want to PLAY?

Danielle Gleitman (aka D) has completed a three year Shiatsu Practitioner diploma.
In 2006 she trained in the UK to teach children’s yoga. She has completed her
Level 1 Yoga Alliance registered teacher’s training.
PLAY combines D’s passion for yoga and working with children, sharing her
effervescent energy with the younger generation!
