Classes run independently by Buikukai Aikido School Auckland at MARCO

Aikido is a popular worldwide martial art that was created from traditional Daito-Ryu Aiki Jujitsu – a practical and very effective system of hand-to-hand combat practised in feudal Japan by generations of professional samurai warriors.

Our teacher is Mr Junichi Nishimura (6th Dan) and our school has many black belt and white belt members to train with. Beginners are invited to come and watch, train and ask all sorts of questions. Wear loose clothing and no jewelry and we look forward to showing you our art.
