ABOUT MARCO

MARCO is an exciting arts centre dedicated to the practice and promotion of creativity for well-being and arts therapy in New Zealand. Located on the city side of Mt Eden, at the edge of Auckland’s CBD, it’s the first of its kind in this country, providing opportunities for connections and collaboration between the arts community, education providers and health practitioners. Arts Therapy at MARCO is aimed at ALL members of society, wherever on the wellness spectrum they might be. With spacious studio, gallery and therapy rooms, MARCO brings together in one place all kinds of arts modalities: the visual arts, movement and dance, rhythm and music, drama and multi-media, and integrates them with therapeutic principles.

MARCO Trust has space available to hire for classes, workshops and therapy. Any pages on this site where it is indicated that the class, workshop or therapy is run by an independent facilitator is not run by MARCO Trust. All other classes, workshops and therapy are run by MARCO Trust.
